This coffee comes to us from the Arrayanes sub-municipality in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia.  It is produced by members of the ASOBOMBO association containing about 60 members. The average farm size is about 4 hectares and contains about 20,000 trees.  The Caturra and Colombia varietals are most commonly produced. The coffee is dried on raised beds after being washed and after the 24 hour fermentation process.  The fermentation process helps to develop a more complex cup of coffee.
